The date of 20 February was set to start the trial of Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed al-Beltagy and MB affiliated preacher Safwat Hegazy and others, in the case abducting two police officers and involuntarily detaining and torturing them, inside the armed Muslim Brotherhood sit-in at Rabea al-Adaweya Square.
Other defendants in the case are Mohamed Zanaty and Abdel Azim Ibrahim, two physicians who worked in the Rabea al-Adaweya field hospital.
