German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is due to arrive in Cairo on Monday evening to head a German diplomatic delegation on a two-day visit to Egypt.
President Mohamed Morsy is to receive the minister on Tuesday. Westerwelle also plans to meet with Foreign Affairs Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr to discuss the political situation in the region and the ongoing crisis in Syria.
