Security authorities received a communication from a contractor in Assiut accusing the defendant of seizing LE3,000,000 from him through a fraud deal.
The defendant sold a 5-acre piece of land to the contractor in Assiut with a forged contract. According to investigations, the defendant convinced the victim that the land belonged to the Endowments Ministry and was up for sale.
He received LE3,000,000 from him and handed him a forged contract. The contractor discovered later that the land was put up for sale by the ministry in an auction, according to investigations.
