Another 260 Egyptians return from Libya

Another 260 Egyptians arrived at Cairo Airport on Tuesday, coming from Libya via Djerba Airport in Tunisia.

Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal said the number of Egyptians returning on the airlift from Libya reached 3,091 people. “We are providing all facilities for the Egyptians who are stranded on the Libyan-Tunisian border,” he said.
 
He added that the operation rooms of the Civil Aviation Ministry and EgyptAir make all necessary flight adjustments according to the situation in Djerba Airport and the flight permits it grants.
 
For their part, the returning Egyptians praised the efforts of the Egyptian government, saying that they were given meals, drinks and health care before and after crossing the border and that they were flown back free of charge.
 
They also thanked Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry who visited them before they returned to Egypt.
