Cairo Criminal Court, headed by Judge Mohamed Nagy Shehata, sentenced in absentia, Sunday, six defendants to death over storming the Ghad al-Thawra Party headquarters in February 2013.
The defendants are Qasem Ashraf Qasem, Islam Hassan, Islam Abdel Hafez, Hussein Nassef, Marco Abdel Messih, and Hossam Mohamed.
The defendants were charged of attempted murder, showing of force, possessing weapons and disturbing public security.
