Head of the Yemeni community in Egypt, Maher al-Yamany said there are currently between 60,000 and 70,000 Yemeni migrants in Egypt. Its history in Egypt dates back to the 1950s.
In a statement Tuesday, Yamany added that the Yemeni community in Egypt includes businessmen that manage multiple projects, students, researchers and their families, pointing out that the Yemeni children live in Egypt "as if they were living in their homeland."
