The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has issued a weather forecast for Thursday. predicting a heatwave that will affect the country for at least a week.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually, reaching high levels across most parts of the country by the beginning of next week.
The expected maximum temperatures for different regions
- Greater Cairo and the North Coast: 32C (90 degrees Fahrenheit).
- South Sinai: 34C (93 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Upper Egypt (North): 35C (95 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Upper Egypt (South): 37C (99 degrees Fahrenheit).

- Hot and sunny weather during the day.
- Clear skies at night.
- Possible dust storms in some areas.
