Legal expert Yahia al-Gamal has been appointed vice-prime minister and minister of legal affairs and parliamentary councils, Al-Masry Al-Youm was informed.
Al-Gamal said that, being optimistic regarding the upcoming phase and because Egypt is going through hard times, he has accepted the position.
In related news, Al-Masry Al-Youm has also been informed that the head of the Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center, Maged Othman, has been nominated minister of communication and information technology, to succeed former minister Tareq Kamel. However, no official decision has been taken yet.
