Video: Egyptian channel correspondent hit by tear gas from Israel army

A correspondent for the Egyptian TV Channel AlQahera News, Walaa al-Salameen, was hit by tear gas fired by Israeli forces at the families of prisoners who were gathering five kilometers away from Ofer Prison in Israel, on Sunday evening.

Salameen reported in a live coverage on the channel that military vehicles were moving towards citizens who were standing five kilometers from Ofer prison gate, and a military bulldozer was present.

During her phone-in on air, she was hit by the tear gas fired by the occupation forces towards the Palestinians and journalists.

“We have become accustomed since the first day of this humanitarian truce, as occupation forces do the same thing when they are about to board the Palestinians prisoners on buses,” she said.
