Mohamed Bahaa Eddin Abu Shaqa, legal adviser to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s campaign, accused certain registry staff of invalidating powers of attorney supporting Sisi in the presidential election by filing them out without the required signatures.
“We know who they are,” he said, adding that one registry office sent 2,500 powers of attorney that will not be counted because they are not signed.
In related news, Sisi's presidential campaign has announced he will deliver a speech after 20 April, declaring his election platform, including where he stands on important social and economic issues.
