PM: State seeks magnifying benefit of tourism assets

PORT SAID, Egypt, Oct 14 (MENA) – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly asserted the state’s interest in developing the tourism sector and magnifying the benefit of relevant state assets.

This came during the premier’s visit to Port Said governorate to inspect several projects.

The premier inspected Ekila tourist village to follow up on its development work, lauding the renovation efforts and the contribution made by the private sector to the project.

Walid Khalil, CEO of New Plan Development which is responsible for developing the village, said the company injected up to EGP 350 million for the upgrade works.

He noted the project will contribute to boosting tourist services and creating jobs. (MENA)
