Nour Party: Brotherhood plans to fail party candidates in elections

The Nour Party accused the Muslim Brotherhood of planning to spoil the election for its party's candidates in the running for the Egyptian Parliament, by voting for the party's rivals without regard to ideology.

Assistant head of the Nour Party, wrote on the official page of the party, "What is going on now in the mind of the group is [how to bring down Nour Party] in the elections."

Bakkar pointed out that the secret of this hostility is the party's role in confronting the group's ideas and its participation in the future roadmap.

He added that the Muslim Brotherhood and its members are subjected to psychological pressure because for the first time Islamists will be represented in the Parliament through members who do not belong to the group.

There are powers and states against the continuation of Nour Party as the sole representative of Islamists, he pointed out.

Nour Party leader Tariq al-Sahry called meanwhile on President Abdel Fattah Sisi to postpone any kind of reshuffle until the parliamentary elections are concluded.
