Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie on Tuesday inaugurated the group’s first branch in the Upper Egyptian city of Assiut.
Badie, who was welcomed by group members upon his arrival at the Assiut Railway Station, spoke of the group’s role in the revolution’s success and in destroying symbols of corruption.
This is the group’s second branch outside Cairo. The first was inaugurated in Alexandria on 29 March.
