Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb left Cairo heading a large delegation to Guinea-Bissau in a two-day visit, where he will meet the president of Guinea to deliver a message from Egypt's interim president Adly Mansour.
Cabinet official sources said that the delegation accompanying Mehleb included the foreign minister, agriculture minister, petroleum minister, housing minister and president's media advisor Ahmed al-Meslimany.
The sources added that Mehleb will discuss with the president of Guinea the return of Egypt to the African Union, especially that he would be heading the African Union summit which discusses the return of Egypt's membership.
The Egyptian delegation will discuss as well a number of development and investment projects carried out by Egypt in Guinea estimated at US$1 billion, the sources said.
