Major foreign websites promote Egypt’s tourist destinations

Various major international news websites have highlighted several of Egypt’s most prominent tourist sites, encouraging readers from across the globe to come see what Egypt has to offer and the competitive edge its got in the prices of its tourism programs.

England’s The Sun newspaper hailed  Egypt as a wonderful spot to spend the summer, as it has some of the most famous ancient wonders of the world and a host of tourist sites such as the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx, and the temples of Luxor and Karnak.

It also referred to many activities that can be practiced such as horse and camel riding, hot air balloon trips, safari trips, in addition to shopping and enjoying picturesque beaches for relaxation and water sports.

Egypt is also famous for many hotels and tourist resorts, such as those in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, the Sun added.

 

A land of history

The US UrbanMatter website’s article “Discover the Wonders of Ancient Egypt: A Journey to the Great Giza Pyramids with TravelVerse,” focused on the rich, ancient history of Egypt’ grand relics.

It pointed out that the Great Pyramids are the only surviving wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World.

The website referred to the area surrounding the pyramids of Giza, which includes a number of other ancient monuments, including the Sphinx, in addition to sound and light shows.

UrbanMatter referred to the richness of Egypt’s history and culture, saying many tourist experiences could be enjoyed during the visit, where one can wander around the Cairo markets, visit ancient temples and bask in the rich atmosphere Egypt has to offer.

 

Gorgeous beaches

Titled “Egypt – Beach Paradise All Year Round,” the US Business Wire website noted some of the the unique features that make Egypt’s beaches stand out as the best place to relax and enjoy the warm sunshine and clear waters.

The website also called on tourists to visit the cities of Hurghada and Marsa Alam, Sharm el-Sheikh and Luxor by shedding light on a number of various tourism potentials in these cities.

The website anticipates an increase in flights to Egypt during the spring, assuring that Egypt is a tourist destination worth visiting even in the winter as its weather is always characterized by warmth, especially in tourist destinations that overlook the Red Sea such as in the cities of Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada.

Business Wire highlighted Hurghada’s picturesque beaches, warm sunshine throughout the year, coral reefs and unique marine life that can be seen while practicing scuba diving and snorkeling in the waters of the Red Sea.

The report also referred to the city of Luxor, famous for its many magnificent ancient temples and the Valley of the Kings.

It added that visitors can walk through the Ram Road which connects Luxor Temple with Karnak Temple, opened at the end of 2021.

Visitors can even take hot air balloon trips and enjoy a stunning view of the city and its ancient monuments.

 

Resort Cities

Looking at Sharm el-Sheikh, known as “the city of peace”, the Business Wire report reviewed recent developments it has undergone in recent years, to become one of the most famous international tourist resorts for spending holidays in Egypt.

The city features golf resorts, adventure parks, cultural sites such as the Sahaba Mosque or the Heavenly Cathedral.

Visitors can go on excursions to the nearby Sinai heights, the historic Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery, as well as stroll around the old market.

The report also highlighted the city of Marsa Alam, particularly popular among diving enthusiasts who enjoy its unique marine life.

Located south of Marsa Alam is the Wadi al-Gemal National Reserve, which hosts a unique coastal area.

 

To the Valley of Kings

In its article “The Valley of the Kings: the most important necropolis in Egypt” the US Nation World News website wrote on the Valley of the Kings as featuring some of most important archaeological cemeteries, reflecting the ancient history of Egypt.

It stated that this ancient cemetery is located on the West Bank of Nile River in Luxor and attracted tourists for centuries for its unique sights.

The website also referred to the royal tombs located on the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun, in addition to the Valley of the Queens, which is located next to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Temple of Ramses III, and the Colossi of Memnon.
