Sharm al-Sheikh resort will host the first ever Arab pediatrics conference on 13 November, which will be chaired by Dr. Sanaa Youssef, professor of pediatrics at Ain Shams University.
The conference will discuss a range of issues of medical significance to Arab children, including child nutrition, metabolic diseases and prenatal nutrition.
The conference will represent the biggest assembly of Arab doctors discussing child nutrition problems and consequent diseases.
The UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said in October that one of every three Egyptian children under the age of five suffer from stunting resulting from malnutrition.
