The Federation of Arab Journalists has announced its absolute support for the initiative launched by the Arab League to place Israeli settlers on the lists of terrorist organizations and prosecute them before international tribunals.
The federation said in a statement on Thursday that this step is crucial, given the ongoing Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people, of which the latest was committed by Israeli settlers who killed the child Ali Dawabsheh and wounded all members of his family when they burned their house, and killing the Al-Maqdisi Abu Khudair in July of last year.
The statement pointed out that the Israeli authorities deny Palestinian journalists their right to freedom of movement, as they banned journalist Khaled Bulbul from traveling to Cairo to complete his M.A.
The statement also argued that Israel is trying all means to convert the whole of Palestine into a state for the Jews.
