The son of a candidate in the elections was killed on Sunday night while supporting his father's bid for a People's Assembly seat.
Amr, son of Sayyed Abu Amr, an independent candidate for the Matariya/Ain Shams workers seat, was stabbed several times while trying to hang up a leaflet supporting his father. He was hospitalized at the Matariya teaching hospital but was later announced dead.
