Egypt's revenue from the Suez Canal declined by 5 percent in March, reaching US$420 million, compared with $441.9 million in the same month last year, according to Bloomberg.
Suez Canal revenues reached $382 million in February 2015, compared to $339.3 million in February 2014.
The waterway is one of Egypt's main sources of foreign currency.
