Communications and Internet have begun to partially return in Gaza

The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced on Friday evening that communications and Internet services in various areas of Gaza have begun to partially return.

The telecommunications company stated that the partial return of communications services came after the provision of a limited amount of fuel through the UNRWA.

The Palestinian Telecommunications Group previously announced the complete cessation of communications and Internet services in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

Earlier the company, Paltel, announced on Wednesday that it had stopped all operating generators in its main stations in the Gaza Strip.

The company stated at the time that communications and Internet services will be cut off from the Gaza Strip hours after the batteries that currently operate them finish charging.

The Palestinian Ministry of Communications announced last Sunday that communications and Internet services will be completely cut off in the Gaza Strip by Thursday, November 16.

The ministry reported that Thursday will witness a complete disruption of communications and Internet services in Gaza due to the depletion of fuel.
