"El Bernameg", a famous Egyptian satirical TV program presented by Bassem Youssef, has won the silver prize for the best show host at the New York International Television and Film Festival.
The program also received two certificates of merit for reaching the final stage of nominations in the categories of comic programs, and best technical production team, according to El Bernameg's official Facebook page
"B+ Bassem Youssef Show."
"El Bernameg" is the first Egyptian and Arab program to win similar award, the page said.
"I am happy to win the best host prize at the New York International Television and Film Festival," Youssef wrote on his Twitter account.
