The Al-Masry Al-Youm, Al-Watan and Youm7 newspapers have increased pressure against Promomedia, a media house that provides media solutions and services.
Al-Masry Al-Youm recently sent a letter to Promomedia to discuss terminating the newspaper's cotract with the media house for failing to pay the debts it owes Al-Masry Al-Youm over the past seven months.
Al-Watan has also warned the media house of its intentions to terminate the contract and file a lawsuit againt Promomedia chairman Ehab Talaat after the bank refused to disburse checks from Talaat. Youm7 has also sent a warning to Promomedia for the same reason.
Al-Masry Al-Youm is currently studying several offers by different ad agencies to get exclusive right to the Al-Masry Al-Youm ads, which would effectively replace Promomedia.
