Dr Medhat al-Adl, brother of Sami al-Adl, said the actor passed away on Friday, at the age of 69.
The funeral will be held following the Friday prayers at Al-Rashdan Mosque, and the deceased will be buried in the family's cemetery on Suez desert road.
Adl was suffering from a severe health crisis after a major heart failure. He had been transferred to the intensive care unit, where he remained in a state of coma.
