Tharwat Sweilam, executive director of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), has said that the Premier League will start on 7 December, but warned there may still be delays.
Differences within the EFA's clubs and broadcast committees could delay the start of the season, Sweilam claimed.
Egypt's 2012-2013 football season was cancelled due to the 30 June protests that toppled Mohamed Morsy.
