Egypt’s Minister of Health Ahmad Emad Eddin said on Saturday that the government will in the coming three months open 42 women and obstetrics hospitals in 9 governorates located in Upper Egypt.
He noted that the cost of the hospitals is LE265 million, adding that 2017 witnessed the inauguration of 35 hospitals with the cost of LE9.1 billion in different governorates in Egypt.
On the new health Insurance law, he asserted that that the executive regulations of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Law will be issued on next Thursday.

The minister’s statements came during a press conference held in Sharm El Sheikh, where he clarified that the three bodies of the Health Insurance Law are “Finance, Health Care and Supervision”.

Bedawi stressed that the factory will add value to Upper Egypt by providing labor opportunities for young pharmacists and supporting drug manufacturing and medical solutions.
Chairman of the Brand Pharma factory, Maikel Sami, formerly stated that the factory will offer 120 jobs in the pharmacy, administration and technical supervision fields and meet the increasing demands for medicines and medial solutions.
Sami added that the factory will be constructed in two stages. The project managers will prepare equipment and form a team of pharmacists and administrators during the first year of the project. The actual production will commence in the second stage.
