More than 120,000 students in Giza, including students of the schools for the blind and the deaf, are starting their first round of preparatory school exams on Sunday. The exams will continue until 17 May.
Governor Ali Abdel Rahman said the Interior Ministry is securing the schools and the students, and the Education Ministry has regulated
the number of students and teachers in each class and provided schools with medical care clinics.
Hisham al-Sangarin of the Giza Education Directorate said the first day is the Arabic language and calligraphy exam, followed by the science and information technology exam on the second day, the foreign language and religion exams on the third day, the statistics and art exams on the fourth day, the engineering exam on the fifth day and the social sciences exam on the last day.
