About 200 Yemeni nationals on Thursday staged demonstrations before the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
They demanded the departure of the Yemeni ambassador to Cairo and the permanent representative to the Arab League.
They also requested Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa to form a committee to investigate what they called “crimes” committed by Yemeni President Aly Abdallah Saleh against his people.
They expressed their aspiration for a “civil” and “democratic” Yemen that preserves “equality” among all people and justly distributes the country’s wealth.
