Yemen strikes back at Israel with missile after deadly attack kills 35

The Israeli military announced it had detected a missile launch from Yemen toward Israel, stating that defense systems were working to intercept it. The military urged citizens to “act in accordance with the instructions of the Home Front Command.”

The Israeli Home Front Command announced that following the missile launch, air raid sirens went off in the Southern Negev and Arava regions. According to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, sirens were also activated in several other Israeli areas, including Nafha Prison, Har Negev, Mitzpeh Ramon, Koshi Ramon, Baran, and Shtim.

This comes hours after an Israeli attack on areas in Yemen, which led to the deaths of 35 people and injuries to 131 others in Sana’a and Al Jawf.

The head of the group’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, vowed a response to the aggression.

The Houthi military spokesperson stated that air defenses confronted the Israeli planes that launched the attack on Yemen, confirming that his forces were able to “foil the largest part of the Zionist attack.”

Meanwhile, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that 30 bombs were used in the attack on Yemen, dropped by 10 warplanes on 15 targets.
