Meteorologists warned Egypt could see temperatures drop to between 6–8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
Weather reports predict cold winds and dust will likely sweep across the country, bringing rain to the North Coast and Delta regions.
Intermittent showers could hit Cairo as well.
Waheed Saudi, head of the analysis center at the General Authority for Meteorology, said visibility may be a problem due to dust storms, while rough waters and waves of up to three meters along the Mediterranean Sea are also expected.
But the rough winter weather will only last a day, Saudi added.
