The upcoming Egyptian Super Cup final will pit eternal rivals Al Ahly against Zamalek on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 5:30 PM Cairo time.
The final was set after Zamalek secured a difficult victory over Pyramids FC in the semi-final via a penalty shootout, successfully catching up with their arch-rival Al Ahly.
Al Ahly had previously reserved their spot by defeating Ceramica Cleopatra 2-1, with goals scored by Mahmoud Hassan Trézéguetand Gredishar, countered only by Marwan Othman Otaka’s goal for Ceramica.
The tournament participants qualified based on recent titles: Al Ahly as the Egyptian League champion, Zamalek as the Egypt Cup champion, Ceramica Cleopatra as the EFL Cup champion, and Pyramids FC holding the Golden Card slot.
Before the final, the third and fourth place match between Pyramids and Ceramica will take place at 2:30 PM on the same day.
