Where and when to catch the Ahly vs Ain match in the 2024 Intercontinental Cup

The Egyptian club al-Ahly faces off against the UAE’s al-Ain on October 29 in the second round matches of the 2024 Intercontinental Cup, which is being held in Egypt.

The match will be broadcast on the MBC network, after it obtained the broadcasting rights to the Intercontinental Cup in the Middle East region.

The MBC network management decided to broadcast the match live on the free MBC MASR 2 channel.

The Emirati AD Sports Network also obtained the rights to broadcast the match live on its open and free screen.

You can also watch the match on the free and open ON Time Sports channels network, via the Nilesat satellite, specifically the ON TIME SPORTS 1 channel.

MBC network has decided to assign the commentary of the match to Egyptian commentator Medhat Shalaby.

Ahly’s lineup in the Intercontinental Cup

The Ahly club decided to enter the match on Tuesday evening to face the UAE’s Ain club with the following lineup:

  • Goalkeeper: Mohamed al-Shennawy
  • Defense line: Yahya Attiat-Allah, Rami Rabia, Ashraf Dari, and Omar Kamal Abdel-Wahed.
  • Midfield: Marawan Attia, Akram Tawfik, and Imam Ashour.
  • Attack line: Hussein al-Shahat, Wessam Abu-Ali, and Percy Tau.

When to watch

The match will start on Tuesday evening, October 29, at Cairo International Stadium at 8:00 pm Cairo time, and 9:00 pm UAE time.

During the match, Ahly will seek to achieve victory to qualify for the third stage, with the winner of the 2024 Copa Libertadores champion and the 2024 CONCACAF champion.

While the UAE’s Ain team enters the match to achieve a positive result in order to advance to the same stage within the Intercontinental Cup, whose final match is scheduled to be held in Qatar on December 18.
