The General Authority has warned of the expected weather conditions across the country, as we continue to witness a decrease in temperatures. A cold weather is expected during the day in most areas, while it will be relatively warm in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
However, the weather at night will be extremely cold, especially in the early morning hours, reaching freezing temperatures in North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and parts of the Western Desert. Difficult weather conditions are expected to continue for the second consecutive day.
Weather maps have issued a warning for tomorrow of disrupted maritime navigation in (Port Said, Rafah, and Arish), with wind speeds of 40-50 km/h and wave heights of 2-3 meters.
Weather maps predict strong winds in areas of the northwestern coasts, causing sand and dust storms in Greater Cairo, the northern coast, the eastern coasts, the Suez Canal cities, and North Upper Egypt at intermittent intervals.
There is a chance of light to moderate rain, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, in areas of the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
