Weather forecast for Thursday – Cairo: 30C, Alexandria: 29C

 

Meteorologists expect moderate weather along Egypt’s northern coast on Thursday, and warmer weather in the rest of the regions, growing milder at night.

Temperatures predicted include 30C in Cairo, 29C in Alexandria, 32C in Qena, 32C in Luxor, and 34C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility in Egypt’s northern parts, in the morning.

Low to medium-level clouds are expected over most of the country, possibly accompanied by rain in Halayib and Shalateen, south the Red Sea mounrains, and some areas in south Upper Egypt.

Winds are anticipated to be moderate, and particularly active in the north, in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be mild, and range between 1 and 1.5 meters. Northeasterly to northwesterly surface winds are predicted over both seas.
