Meteorologists predict hot weather to continue across Egypt on Saturday.
Moderate temperatures are expected for the northern region, while southern Upper Egypt will be unusually hot in the daytime. Predicted temperatures include 32C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.
Weather will be more moderate across all regions at night.
Mist will affect visibility in northern Egypt’s morning hours, and low clouds are expected on the north coast.
Moderate winds will mostly flow north to northwestern. They will be active in South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting navigation there.
Waves in and around the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while in the Red Sea they are expected to be turbulent, and between 2 to 2.5 meters high.
Northwestern surface winds are predicted on both seas.
