The Egyptian Meteorological Authority revealed expected weather conditions during Eid al-Adha this year.
Moderate weather will prevail across the country in the early morning, growing hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, very hot in South Sinai and the southern parts of the country, and moderate by night throughout all of Egypt.
Meteorologists warned against exposure to sunlight during peak hours (from one pm to four pm), adding that high levels of humidity during the day will increase heat two to three degrees.
The EMA advised citizens to drink plenty of cool liquids, wear loose, cotton clothes, wear a head covering during peak hours, and stay in well-ventilated places.
Summer this year began on Wednesday, June 21, and will last for three months.
