The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has released its forecast for Cairo and the governorates, predicting mild autumn weather in the early morning hours, transitioning to hot during the day across most regions, and very hot in South Sinai and Southern Egypt. Temperatures are expected to be mild again at night.
Weather maps warn of suspended dust (haze) in exposed areas across Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta (Lower Egypt).
The forecast also warns of mist (water fog) forming during the early morning hours (from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM) on roads leading to Greater Cairo, Northern Upper Egypt, Canal cities, Northern Egypt, and Central Sinai.
Wind and health warnings
Winds are anticipated to be active over parts of the northwestern coast, which will help moderate the temperature in the shade and during the evening hours. However, these winds may sometimes be dust-stirring over Southern Egypt and the Western Desert during intermittent periods.
Meteorological experts advise individuals suffering from chest conditions and sinus problems to wear face masks when going out due to the expected dusty conditions.
