The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of the weather during the next 72 hours, as the country will be exposed to a wave of unstable weather as of Saturday.
This is due to the extension of a superficial depression on the Mediterranean Sea, which leads to high waves and rainfall of varying intensity that may reach thunderstorms in the north.
Temperatures will be expected to continue to drop, especially during the late night hours, so that very cold weather will prevail in central Sinai, where temperatures are expected to reach 12C.
Meteorologists expected rain, active cold wind coming from Europe, low temperatures and high sea waves.
Moderate weather will prevail, on Friday, on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the south of the country, and the northern coasts.
The weather is expected to be moderate during the night hours on the south of the country, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and Greater Cairo.
Cold weather will prevail in the late hours of the night and early morning over the north of the country.
Meteorologists advised wearing autumn clothes during the late night and early morning hours, closing windows when sleeping, and wearing masks for citizens with chest diseases when going on the street.
Maximum temperatures predicted on Friday:
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt 29C
North Coast 27C
South Sinai 31C
Northern Upper Egypt 29C
Southern Upper Egypt 34C
