Sunshine during the day will increase starting Tuesday and rainfall probability will decrease in most governorates, prompting warmer weather, Egyptian Meteorological Authority Media Center member Manar Ghanem said in televised statements on Tuesday.
Maximum temperatures predicted on Tuesday:
Alexandria 18C
Cairo 19C
Matrouh/Sohag/Assiut 20C
South Sinai 22C
Light rain might fall on some areas of the northwestern coasts and parts of northern Lower Egypt at no more than a 30 percent rate.
Ghanem said that, in conjunction with the stability in weather conditions, mist will affect highways and agricultural roads overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Dense mists are expected, she said, the density of which varies from day to day and from governorate to governorate.
She added that mist will be greater on the western side and some areas of northern Upper Egypt.
On Wednesday, dense mists are expected across most of the nation, she said, explaining that the time of its formation is in the late hours of the night until eight am, warning of a decrease in horizontal visibility.
Cold weather is predicted Wednesday in the early morning with moderate weather in the daylight hours.
Temperatures will drop dramatically by the evening.
