Warm weather will prevail in the morning starting Tuesday and lasting until Thursday, said head of the Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel Aal, adding that the weather will become very cold at night.
Weather temperatures are expected to decrease starting next Friday, January 8, by 5C or 6C, said Abdel Aal in a statement Tuesday, warning that cold weather will prevail starting Friday in the morning and become very cold at night.
Starting Thursday afternoon winds will be active, stirring sand and dust and affecting visibility on the roads. Navigation will be affected by high wind speed as well, according to Abdel Aal. Active wind will increase the feeling of coldness, especially at night, he said.
Rains are expected on the north coast. It will be lighter in Cairo and in parts of Lower Egypt.
The weather is expected to improve starting Saturday evening, according to Abdel Aal.
