Meteorologists predict warm weather on Tuesday across Egypt in the daylight hours, growing cold by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 21C in Alexandria and Cairo, 22C in Qena and Luxor, 23C in Aswan and Sharm el-Sheikh, and 24C in Hurghada.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts until northern Upper Egypt in the morning. Winds are expected to be mostly southwesterly and moderate. Winds will be active on the northern coasts and blow up sand and dust in different parts. They will also be active on the Mediterranean Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Low and medium-level clouds are expected for the northern parts, accompanied by rainfall on the northwestern coasts.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height, and surface winds will be southwesterly.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.
