Warm weather continues into Friday

Meteorologists predict warm weather on Friday across Egypt, with temperatures expected to grow colder at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 23C in Cairo and Alexandria, 25C in Qena, and 28C in Luxor and Aswan.

Mist is predicted across the northern region of the country in the morning, with low- and medium-level clouds expected to increase in the north and east, which may be accompanied by rain along the north coast and North Sinai.

Winds will be northwestern, moderate in strength and active along the west coast, South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibility disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are predicted to be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height with northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea are predicted to be moderate to turbulent, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
