Egypt

Warm weather to continue Wednesday

Meteorologists expect warm weather in the north, in Cairo and in the northern part of Upper Egypt on Wednesday.

Temperatures will be higher in southern Upper Egypt during the day, but will cool down at night.

Morning mist will affect visibility in Lower Egypt, Cairo and the Suez Canal cities.

Low-level and medium-level clouds will appear in the north, though heavier cloud coverage will appear over the Hala'ib and Shalateen cities, accompanied by light rain.

The wind will be mostly southwesterly, and light to moderate in force. It will be active, however, on the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, disrupting navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are expected to reach between 2-2.5 meters high and surface winds will be southwesterly. Waves in the Red Sea are expected to reach 2-2.5 meters, with northwesterly surface winds.

Maximum temperatures expected on Wednesday: Cairo: 25C, Alexandria: 25C, Luxor: 28C, Aswan: 29C.
