Wahran Arab Film Festival management have announced they plan to honour Egyptian actress Laila Taher at the seventh festival.
The festival, scheduled to run between 23 and 30 September, will also celebrate the work of Syrian artist Asaad Fadda and Algerian director Ahmed Rachedi.
Twelve Arab countries, including Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and Tunisia, as well as Algeria, will participate in the festival.
Fourteen feature-length films, 18 shorts and six documentaries are scheduled to air at Wahran.
