President of the opposition Wafd Party Al-Sayed al-Badawy said on Tuesday that he would send President Hosni Mubarak a detailed report about electoral violations that are said to have marred Sunday’s parliamentary polls.
He went on to say he would call on the president to restore his party's confidence in the electoral process, noting that the Wafd Party planned to boycott all future elections.
Al-Badawy's assessment will reportedly include video evidence of violent acts committed on Election Day, including the indimidation of voters to cast their ballots for the ruling National Democratic Party's candidates.
