A video of a woman complaining about an assault she had suffered from one of the officers from the Desouk police station has been circulated on the social media.
According to the video, a policeman beat the victim and slapped her on the face. The woman, who identified herself as Shama Ibrahim Youssef Galal, called for the officer to be prosecuted.
"The officer followed me into my house, telling me indecent words that even my husband would not say to me, slapped me twice on my face, kicked me, and went on to beat my daughter," she said.
"He doesn't deserve his position," she added.
Galal complained that the officer assaulted her, because he knew that she had no one to protect her.
"Isn't the government at the service of the people? I can face this man and confront him," she concluded.
