Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s latest film “Dunki” (The Illegal Immigrant) is scheduled to be released in Egypt next Wednesday.
The plot revolves around “donkey flights” which facilitate illegal immigration into countries such as Canada, the US and UK.
The comedy-drama film represents Shah Rukh Khan’s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani, the director of “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.” (2003) “3 Idiots” (2009), “PK” (2014), and “Sanju” (2018).
Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal.
The script and dialogue were co-written by Abhijat Josehi and Kanika Dehlon.
Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan’s third film this year following the box office smash hits of “Pathaan” and “Jawan”, which both grossed over US$135 million globally.
