Egypt’s international football superstar Mohamed Salah was swarmed by fans on the football pitch who were all-too eager to celebrate the Egyptian national team’s victory over Comoros on Monday evening at the qualifiers for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
Salah was disturbed by how close the fans were to him and requested they maintain their distance while taking photos.

Egypt won the match 4-0 at the Cairo International Stadium.
Egypt’s goals started in the first half at the 15th minute by a global from Mohamed Elneny, who strongly shot the ball into the ceiling of the Comoros goal. Two minutes after Elneny’s goal, Mohamed Sherif scored a goal against Comoros after receiving a smooth pass from Mohamed Magdy Afsha.
Salah scored then Egypt’s third goal against the Comoros at the 20th minute of the first half. This came after the smooth pass he received from Trezeguet from the left side to hit the Comoros net directly.
Salah also scored the fourth goal at the 25th minute of the first half.
The Comoros national team tried to reach Mohamed al-Shenawy’s goal through long kicks executed behind the defenders of the Egyptian team, but the vigilance of the defenders and the midfielders prevented any real danger to Shenawy.
The match started with a moment of silence for the victims of the Sohag train accident which shook Egypt last Friday with dozens of casualties.
