Young Dutch activists recently conducted an experiment in which they pretended that the Holy Bible was actually the Holy Quran. The young men highlighted verses in the book they deemed contrary to Western values and norms and read them aloud to passersby. Initial reactions were those of alarm, until the pedestrians realized that it was actually the Bible "talking".
The video, which was viewed by more than two million social network users, was filmed amid fears of a fresh wave of Western “Islamophobia” following the Paris massacre in November which killed 130 people. The attack claimed by the Islamic State.
Netherlands is the home of parliamentarian Geert Wilders, a member of the far-right Freedom Party and an all-time advocate of the expulsion of Muslim migrants, who was recently quoted in November as calling for a halt to the "Islamic invasion" of his country.
