Meteorologists predict mild weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Thursday and very hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Upper Egypt during the daylight, growing milder by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Alexandria, 39C in Cairo, 43C in Qena, 44C in Luxor and 45C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning while low and medium-level clouds will cover the northern parts of the country.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate active north of the country, northern Upper Egypt, Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and range between one to 1.5 meters in height while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two to 2.5 meters with northwestern surface winds.
