The Catholic Church in the Red Sea, headed by Father Youanas Adib, announced that the Vatican ambassador in Egypt, Nicholas Henry, will begin on Wednesday at three-day visit to Hurghada.
The visit comes right after Henry wraps up a three-day visit in Minya, where he was received on Sunday with a massive celebration.
Adib said the visit will be the first for Henry to Hurghada since his inauguration.
The governorate has strict plans to receive Henry, with emphasis coronavirus precautionary and preventive measures.
The visit will include a ceremonial mass in the presence of Bishop Emmanuel on Friday morning at Saint Joseph’s Church in Hurghada, he added.
